The Week

The Week is a nonprofit project that creates space for people to explore their responses to the climate crisis, encouraging personal reflection and action. It started as a series of Zoom calls during the pandemic and evolved into a film project that addresses climate change challenges in the US, UK, France, and Germany. The Week aims to engage individuals from all backgrounds to collectively embrace a new, hopeful story about the future, moving away from blame and cynicism toward imagination and joy.

The Week invites everyone to participate in addressing climate change, emphasizing the power of collective action and the importance of diverse perspectives, including scientific insights and traditional wisdom. It challenges people to choose a narrative of hope and action over cynicism, focusing on the power of imagination and joy to drive change.

Experience of The Week:

The Week is designed to be experienced in a group setting, with three film episodes watched over a short period. These films help participants understand the reality of climate change, how society arrived at this point, and what actions can be taken individually and collectively. The group discussions enhance the experience, allowing participants to process the information and share insights. The Week is available in multiple languages and includes subtitles to make it accessible to a broader audience.
